State of California

California, also known by their human name of Koda Amihan Hà Casey Washington de Echeverría, is a caring and outgoing individual who doesn't care how others perceive them. She knows who she is as a person and doesn't care how others feel about that. They are very resolute and comfortable with themselves and who they are and rarely feel anxious about it.

They care deeply about family and are always willing to help them, especially if it means they get to punch a bitch. She's not afraid to stand up for herself or others and prefers taking action to help her family than standing by and doing nothing. To her, not taking action is worse than any consequences that come with taking action.

California is also very open-minded, and, like how they don't care how others see them, they also really don't care how others see themselves. California is a person who is easy to confide in, as she doesn't judge others and is able to keep a secret. They will listen and offer advice
best they can, and they are a comfort to many people for that reason.

Physical Description

California is five foot five and physically twenty-one. They have black eyes and curly black hair in a pixie cut.

In country form, her face is her flag, and the red from it goes down the rest of her body. Her hands are white with red stars on them.

In human form, they are often called Asian, 41.2 White-58.8 POC, based on the 2020 census (this is also a very loose definition, but I am trying to give you a good baseline for "mixed"). The largest ethnic groups are Latino, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, German, and Irish.

She is slender.

California has the animal traits of a California grizzly. She has the ears, tail, claws, and teeth of a bear, alongside some fur patches. She has had these traits since birth.

Historical Description

When California was younger, she was very Native in appearance, but she later started to look white around the time of the Gold Rush. She continued to look white for a long time, up until the 1960s, when she slowly began to look more Latino and Asian. Her hair has always been black in color, but her eyes went from brown to blue to brown again and then black.
