Peru, known in Quechua and Aymara as Piruw or by his human name Luis Xavier Belmonte de Abarca, is a very proud but equally sensitive individual.
Peru is very proud of himself and his people, and takes great pride in his history. He tries to learn as much as he can about the personifications that came before him because he wants to learn from them, but also improve from their mistakes. Peru does not want to make mistakes that will harm his people, and civil war and military government have led to him thinking that he must be the best, or he will be replaced.
Peru is very sensitive as well. Since he cares deeply for his people, he is very sensitive to their wants, and when things get bad. Since he tries to be in tune with them, he is often the first to join them when things are needed, and when he is harshly criticized by them, it hurts him deeply, as he is trying his best for them.
Peru is an outdoorsman, hiking in the mountains and always going off to explore different national parks and outdoor sites. He likes the outdoors, as he feels at peace there, and it is a chance to get away from the pressures of his life.
