New Zealand
Aotearoa New Zealand, also known by his human name of Timothy “Timmy” Andrew Kōhere (Māori: Timoti “Timmy” Anaru Kōhere), is a nervous and often meek individual who cares very deeply for family and his people. However, when he is comfortable and feels safe, he can often become very snarky and jokey.
Aotearoa New Zealand suffers from extreme anxiety stemming from his childhood and is nervous around large groups and with new people. For better or worse, Aotearoa New Zealand likes to stick with the people and places he knows, and it is very easy for him to fall into routines and schedules that are hard for him to change.
Aotearoa New Zealand can also be a little meek when faced with confrontation from people he holds up to high authority in his mind, mainly older family members, and he can struggle to confront them, letting them walk all over him because he doesn’t want to argue with them. This has led to Aotearoa New Zealand often being thrown in the middle of conflicts between family members and others who think he can be easily swayed to his side. However, just because Aotearoa New Zealand will verbally support a side does not mean he believes it, just that he will say whatever is, in his mind, least likely to get him in trouble.
Aotearoa New Zealand is a very caring person, and he puts his family before himself. He loves his family deeply and always wants to make them happy. He is very easy to forgive, and he just wants everyone to be happy and get along. He hates familial conflict and prefers things when they are peaceful and nice. In many ways, he is conflict-avoidant.
When comfortable, Aotearoa New Zealand becomes a snarky bastard, willing to make sarcastic jokes and comments. He smiles a lot more when comfortable, the nervousness leaving his shoulders, and it becomes very obvious that he is enjoying life. Aotearoa New Zealand hides his sarcasm, but once he feels comfortable letting someone see it, it never stops, a never-ending stream of jokes and comments, revealing how smart he actually is behind the veil of a meek, nervous man.
