I will not do anything past 2020 for the history sections unless they were born after 2020, as many events are too recent. Website still incomplete.
Maine, also known by his human name of Stephen Edmund Washington, is an introverted and nervous individual who prefers to live a quiet life. He can be very jumpy and suspicious of others, and even in a public space, he won't want to be approached by strangers. He wants to be left alone and often won't even talk to members of his government unless it's a matter that he is very concerned about.
However, when around people he trusts, Maine can be very open and witty in his humor, although still very shy. His shyness is not overwhelming, and Maine can be very talkative around people he is extremely close to.
He keeps most things close to his chest, and it is very difficult to get information and opinions from him. He doesn't like to be seen as problematic for his beliefs, and unless he is trying to correct a misconception or correct someone speaking on his behalf, he won't talk about them that much.

Maine is four foot ten and physically twenty-two. He has gray eyes and straight brown hair cut short. He has a light smattering of freckles across the bridge of his nose. He often walks with a cane or two crutches due to his hooves.
In country form, his flag is his face, and the blue from it carries down the rest of his body. His hands are buff in color, one holding a blue star and the other holding a green pine tree. His knees and elbows are also buff in color.
In human form, he is mixed but often called white, 90.8 White-9.2 POC, based on the 2020 census (this is also a very loose definition, but I am trying to give you a good baseline for "mixed"). The largest ethnic groups are English, Irish, French, German, French Canadian, and Latino. Maine does not look mixed in any way, however, and just looks white.
Maine is muscular, with broad shoulders and a wide frame.
Maine has the animal features of a moose, including their antlers, ears, tail, and legs and hooves. Maine gained these traits on June 15, 1820.
Maine has a small scar across the bridge of his nose.
Maine’s appearance has not changed throughout history.

From June 15, 1820 to March 21, 1901, Maine's face was his seal.
From March 21, 1901 to February 23, 1909 Maine had this flag. There are several movements to bring this flag back due to fact that the modern Maine flag is a blue bed sheet flag indistinguishable from any other blue bed sheet.
