Virginia is four foot eleven in height and a physical age of twenty-one. He has kinky black hair and dark brown eyes, and his hair is normally in dreads.

While in country form, his skin is that of his flag, and the blue travels down the rest of his body. The flowers that encircle the seal make bracelets around his wrists.

Virginia has the features of a phoenix, with wings, as well as the ability to control fire. He is also fireproof. He has had these traits since birth. His wingspan is nine foot eight. His phoenix wings are based on those of a kestrel, and thus have kestrel patterning on them.
