State of New Jersey

New Jersey, also known by his human name of Aaron Nicholas Washington, is a hard-headed and easily frustrated person who is not good at reading his emotions and interactions with others. New Jersey has a hard time recognizing, processing, and acting on his emotions, which are most commonly expressed by anger outbursts fueled by New Jersey's frustration at himself.

While he often comes off as a judgemental asshole, New Jersey is a very kind-hearted and gentle soul. He can be very sensitive but also very protective of those he cares about, especially when it comes to family.

New Jersey has his own style of humor, one will of sarcasm and mock insults, something that has contributed to his reputation as an asshole. New Jersey is also very uncomfortable with strangers or large groups of people, as does whatever it takes to avoid them and be by himself.

Physical Description

New Jersey is four foot six in human form and five foot six in country form, and physically twenty-seven. He has hazel eyes that are greenish in color, and he has straight light brown hair with a small cowlick. He has freckles, which are strongest on his face and arms.

In country form, his face holds his flag, and the yellow color carries down his body. The blue flourishes from his seals and flag trace patterns on his arms and hands.

In human form, he looks mixed, 55 White-45 POC, based on the 2020 census (this is also a very loose definition, but I am trying to give you a good baseline for "mixed"). The largest ethnic groups are Italian, Irish, Indian, Latino, and African-American. He is often seen as being mixed, but no one ever assigns a specific race to him.

New Jersey is skinny and slim.

Animal Features

New Jersey has horse animal features, with his form containing the ears and tail of a horse. Additionally, he has hooves for feet in an almost satyr-ish fashion, which prevents him from wearing shoes. Due to the fact that he has hooves, he cannot balance well and uses a cane for support. He also wears grippy socks to help him on hardwood floors and other sick surfaces. He didn’t get his horse features until 1777 when his seal was created.

New Jersey has a bayonet scar on his stomach from the War of 1812. It is a death scar, meaning it glows in the dark.

Historical Description

New Jersey was much whiter when he was younger, but over the past seventy years, he slowly grew darker. While he could still be called mixed, he never looked the part. Aside from this, New Jersey has looked relatively the same in appearance.
