Logo Design

When beginning with the project I chose to create a ski logo because I personally connect with skiing and would have a fun time making it. I wanted to make a more creative and fun logo which led me to make the i out of ski poles and a skier mid jump. This word also inspired me to add a mountain in the background to create more contrast and balance the black and white.

I used Adobe Photoshop which is digital art to make this ski logo. I used multiple tools for outlining and filling in certain areas to create contrast and sharp lines. 

At the start, I originally planned to design a lacrosse logo and decided a skiing one would be more fun and potentially have more ways to go about it. I then wrote out the letters with the ski poles and skier as the i. I wanted to build more contrast and balance out the blacks and whites so I drew a mountain silhouette as the background and made the letters white within the mountain. I also thought the ski poles and skier would add a nice touch to the overall theme.
