Donate Life

The main idea guiding my work is conveying a positive message about organ and tissue donation. I created the phrase "make the save" to portray an uplifting message for donating to this cause. I was inspired by goalkeeping because I am a goalie and this personally connects to me. 

I started by sketching an outline of the objects displayed. I then went over it with gauche and completed the rest. I then digitally added the words. 

I began this project by brainstorming ideas of positive sayings that would encourage organ and tissue donation. I liked the idea of a goalie diving for a ball representing someone saving someone's life through organ and tissue donation. When creating this visual, I placed the goalie in the center of the piece-- mid-air. He is saving the ball from hitting the net. I used three different distinct colors so the field, sky, and goalie contrast and pop out.
