Location: Hottentots-Holland nature reserve just outside of Jonkershoek, between Stellenbosch / Franschoek / Theewaterskloof Dam. OSM Map
Overview: An untechnical hike with outstanding panoramic views of the Cape, a worthy detour from the Jonkershoek Panorama or Swartboskloof trails.
Accessed via a path crossing the Dwarsberg Plateau from between Bergriviernek & Kurktrekkersnek on the Panorama path. No matter the combination of routes chosen this makes for a long and strenuous day of hiking.
Route Description: See Panorama Route. The path to the peak deviates from the Panorama route at -34.0054919, 19.0089459 - about half way between Bergriviernek and Kurktrekkersnek just before the sharp bend around the corner to the straight path (travelling clockwise) about slide 15.
