Key recent changes:
Sept 2024 A welcome to Johan Fourie who has joined the MM editing team
Migration from Classic Google Sites to the new Sites (June 2021). The site now works across desktop, tablet and mobile devices and uses Material Design. The new tools substantially improve the appearance and "flow" of many pages. Many new routes were also added and most existing ones reviewed and improved. .
Links to a relevant Open Source Map have been added to nearly all pages. This is a great resource. Try it! See the OSM Maps page for some tips.
A change record has been added so that it is easy to see what has been added or changed. It is at Change Record
Links to All Trails have been added to many pages. This is a useful additional resource, especially beyond Table Mountain, in the rest of the country - and rest of the world. See the All Trails page for more background - and cautions that apply to using this resource. MM makes no warranty that info on All Trails is correct nor that a path/trail on OSM or All Trails means that it's open to the public.
Please report any missing information, pages that don't display well, or broken links, to the Webmaster
Note: SAN Parks have closed or attempted to close certain popular routes on Table Mt. The situation changes from time to time and best to inquire from SAN Parks whether the route you propose doing is open. Several country areas are also currently closed including Jonkershoek and parts of Bainskloof. Check before visiting.
Navigation: Expand the menu on the left to any desired level, or use Search if looking for a specific route - or person. (The search icon is on the top right.) Or see the Introduction for more options.
