Du Toit's Kop

Overview: Pleasant day outing from Cape Town starting at the top of the Franschhoek Pass. The ascent is from 746m to 1418m at the summit ie 672m but elevation gain/loss is some 50m more.

Distance hiked is 9 km and with long tea and lunch stops takes about 6 1/2 hrs

At the Mont Rochelle gate is a map showing the paths. Just follow the markers - the path is clear all the way.
