This route was popular 15-20 years ago before the Constantia Nek Acrobranch Zipline was installed. The start was off Bay Road (beyond the entrance to the normal Vlakkenberg path).
The access is currently being checked as Google Maps shows some private development possibly in the way of the route.
High security fencing prevents access all the way next to the Hout Bay Main road, and Bay Road is closed to the public by a High Security guarded entrance Gate
