Passionate Bits' Billboard

Billboard News' Historic List

April 20, 1999

    • Already moved and installed. Nice location and nice flat.

    • Got a fishbowl and some pretty fishes. They swim around (as expected). Hope my little niece will like to look at them (I do).

    • Got a pair of roller-skates --four wheels in a row, the last trend! Easy to skate but a bit boring, really...

    • ...unless a dark-haired, black-eyed girl with a wide bright mouth takes a fancy to you and decides to train you in the art of good... skating.

February 24, 1999

    • Time to move out for me. My flatmate and I were told three weeks ago to leave our rented house.

    • After the initial shock, we made our minds to buy one.

    • We did a frantic and successful search, and then had to patiently wait for the mortgage to be approved.

    • It arrived at last! We hope to move in next week.

January 13, 1999

    • Unfortunately, it must be said again: let Pinochet be tried by his crimes.

    • Lately I've seen 'The Mighty' (Un mundo a su medida), with Sharon Stone and Kieran Culkin. I like it very much.

    • It could be said it's about surviving in an hostile environment.

    • They do it with imagination and boldness.

December 17, 1998

    • I've just bought a Sony Mavica MVC-FD51. If you're interested in a digital still camera but not so sure about the image quality, and want to see some real pics, just tell me and I'll email you some.

    • It's just another concept: photography without (monetary) limits. I carry it with me all the time, and when I see something liable to be shot, I shoot. As easy as that.

    • If only I wouldn't be such a foul photographer.

    • Nice thing, this camera, with its storing images in a simple floppy.

November 14, 1998

    • Mallorca has said: no more buildings, no more coast destruction, no more nature spoliation.

    • Justice for the chilean people: get Pinochet extradited and judged in Spain.

    • Let's get rid of the tyrants around.

September 19, 1998

    • ETA has announced a indefinitely truce. It's such good news, they stopping killing people!

    • Everybody here is cautious but happy, hopeful definite peace will be reached.

    • It's now, however, when the real danger begins. Is Spain ready to grant the Basque country the right to peaceful self-determination.

    • Some hope we'll be able to live up to the current expectations.

July 12, 1998

    • Can you guess what a pleasure it is to pick some blackberries while going down to the beach,

    • and swim freely naked in green transparent waters under the warming morning sun,

    • then come out of the water and enjoy the nudity of the beautiful people around, with the only sound of the waves gently tapping the rocks?

    • Don't doubt it a moment and come.

July 6, 1998

    • I've been out in a little vacation for a week

    • Had a great time in my hometown with my friends and family

    • Especially with my beautiful 15 days-old niece

    • Cèlia's her name

June 19, 1998

    • Cèlia is out! My first niece. I'm happy!

    • I'm already seeking great beaches here to take her to.

    • She'll love to drop by her uncle's.

    • No doubt of it!

June 12, 1998

    • I got every reason on Earth to be mad, 'cos I just lost the only girl I had. If I could get my way I'd get myself locked up today.

    • But I'll come back some day again. And when I do you'd better hide all the girls, I'm gonna break their hearts all round the world.

    • Yes, I'm gonna break them in two, and show you what your lovin' man can do.

    • Until then, I'll cry instead.

May 27, 1998

    • Suharto is out. Good riddance to bad rubbish! One less tyrant in the world. It's high time to get rid of SLORC in Burma.

    • The search engine in the Ethereal section works fine, but it doesn't report the whole contents of the site. I'm afraid I must register to have it wholly indexed. I promise I'll do!

    • 'Every organization appears to be headed by secret agents of its opponents' (Robert Conquest, historian).

May 21, 1998

    • The search engine in the Ethereal section works fine, but it hasn't indexed the whole contents of the site. I'm working to fix it.

May 19, 1998

    • My apologies for the delay in the launching of version 2.0 . It hasn't been an easy task, but finally it's out!.

    • Please note that some links may not properly work, or some images perhaps don't load. Give me a couple of days to tune it up.

May 15, 1998

    • 'I am a careful writer, you are a purist, he is a pedant'. (somebody's email signature).

      • May 7, 1998

    • 'There are two kind of data in your computer: data safely backed up; and data waiting to be lost'

May 6, 1998

    • Sorry for the delay in the launch of version 2.00 of this homepage. Although it's already designed, it still needs being implemented. I hope it'll be ready in less than 2 weeks, by May 15.

April 28, 1998

    • Microsoft is giving its brand new Outlook 98 for free to everyone who downloads it before May 31. Don't miss this opportunity to get it, it's impressive! If you don't know where to look for it, email me.

      • April 24, 1998

    • My brother Enric, again: sign up for another email address, if you can't access your current one, for God's sake!

April 15, 1998

    • I'm working in a whole new design for this page. Hopefully it'll be ready by the end of this month.

    • Do you know you can sign up for a free web-email address? Having one makes the difference when your SMTP or POP3 provider fails to connect to your server. Along with others, Hotmail (www.hotmail.com) and Yahoo (www.rocketmail.com) are offering web-email addresses. You can get one for free!

    • I'm making a little headway with JavaScript. I think this page is now correctly displayed in both Netscape and Explorer browsers. Please tell me about any problem you may have while surfing these pages.

April 10, 1998

    • Julio Gago has had a serious car accident in Tarragona (Spain). He's been hit by a car that didn't stop at the sign in a crossroads. Fortunately, he's now almost recovered.

April 6, 1998

    • José Maria Mira has finally left hospital. No matter how aching he still is, he's almost recovered.

    • My brother Enric: if you still can't send any messages, call Lander. They may solve your problem by purging your email account.

March 19, 1998

    • José Maria Mira has been run down by a car in Castelló (Spain). He's broken his shoulder-blade and collar bone, and he's actually being monitored for possible internal damage. He's not expected to leave the Hospital until two weeks from now.

    • I'm tampering with JavaScript these days. Please be patient with my poor updating of this page.
