Again

I'm happy these days I've cut off (again) with social networking. I'm enjoying this new approach of concentrating on what I really want to read or write (or do) instead of being wonderfully distracted by a screen neverendingly getting refreshed. On the one hand, it gives me a feeling of determination and control, and of getting things done; on the other hand, it forces me to choose wisely what it is that other thing I'm doing, because now it's my main interest and I don't like to waste my time in whatever it doesn't deserve it. Of course I'll miss the good things social networking has to offer --but you can't ever have both good sides of contraries.

I'm having a talk next Wednesday with M's English teacher at school, by my request. He spontaneously told me a few days ago that not only the class is plainly boring to death to him, but that most of the time he'd like to cover his ears in order to not hear the way the other boys and girls pronounce the words, to his own discomfort and disadvantage. I'm looking forward to hearing what his teacher will be proposing.

That last sentence to be read with a hint of sarcasm.
