Are you interested in participating in a pilot program to test the effectiveness of a new reading website? Designed just like Khan Academy, the software will get to know you as a student and build a unique course around your reading level. This program is ideal for those of you focused on building your reading comprehension and critical thinking skills.
If you are interested, complete the short registration form below.
Who is eligible to participate?
Any eLearn student that has completed the New Student Agreement
The first 10 students to complete the form will be enrolled in the 4-week pilot course
What are the requirements?
Since this is a pilot program, we want students that are ready to commit to the course to really test it out and see what we like and what we don't like. Therefore, please only apply to participate if you are able to commit at least 2 hours per week to the course. Remember, this is in addition to any other courses you are currently working on (i.e. Khan Academy, Serial, Writing for the HISET).
At the end of the pilot course, all students will be required to complete a short survey to share feedback on the experience.
Will I receive eLearn hours for my participation?
Yes of course! All students will receive eLearn hours based on the amount of time spent completing coursework in the online program.
If you aren't accepted to the pilot course, don't worry as we are just testing the program for now. After the 4-week pilot program is over, we will be opening the program to all eLearn students.
To be considered for the pilot program, be sure to submit this application no later than 9pm on Thursday, April 2nd.
