Build test-taking experience; studies show that test scores improve each time you take a test;
Increase confidence as you prepare for the Official Practice Exam and Official HiSET Exam;
Give you the data needed to see which sections you are ready for and which sections you still need to study
About the Tests
There are a few versions of the Practice Test. Each is optional as you can always choose to just take the real test whenever you are ready.

You can take the subjects in any order (start with something you feel good about)
Use a calculator on the math section (just like you can on the real test!)

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I take the sections over a few days?
Yes and you should! You can't actually take the official HISET all on the same day, so it's a good idea to break up this test so you don't get too tired. Maybe take 2 sections per week for the next few weeks. But remember, if you start a subject, make sure to finish it within the allowed time on the same day.
Should I keep studying online?
Yes! You can take this practice test slowly over the next couple weeks. In the meantime, be sure to continue practicing on Khan Academy and in your other classes.
Will I get eLearn hours for the practice test?
Yes! Once you take each section, score the exam, and submit your results with the online form, you will receive 4.5 hours!
Is the practice test digital?
No - the files below are just PDFs. So you can either print and take the exam on paper, or just open the files and look at the questions on the computer screen while writing your answers down.
