Changing your Name and Adding a Coach (Group P)
On Khan Academy, students can add a "coach," which allows another user to recommend skills, videos, and tips for students to use during online courses. This is great for teachers/students and parents/children to work together online.
To add a coach, follow these instructions:
Go to www.khanacademy.org/coaches
In the "Add a coach" section, enter the following code:
83ACZE
Click "Join the class"
You will know you've done it correctly if "Joey Lehrman (JALehrman@gmail.com)" is listed in the "Your coaches" section
To change your Khan username, follow these steps:
The last step is to change your Khan username to make it easier for your instructors and classmates to know who they are working with online!
So instead of seeing "phonex32," you should see "Joey Teacher."
To change your username to your real name:
In the top-right corner, click your name
Then click "Settings"
Change your "Real name" to your first and last name
Click Save changes
To check you've completed each step, look for your name on the projector screen.
