The majority of our online coursework will be complete through Khan Academy and CourseSites. This page includes information about the websites, including how to access and how to use them effectively.
Khan Academy (click the blue link to access the page)
Khan Academy offers customized math courses that adapt to the unique level of each student. Learners can access material from the "Learning Dashboard." Your goal will be to first master every concept in the "Arithmetic and Pre-Algebra" courses, which includes the foundation of the concepts that are tested on the HiSET exam.
** Remember to always sign-in using the same Google account (see image below); otherwise, the site won't track your progress and improve the course for you!
Study Goal: eLearn students are encouraged to complete 2-4 hrs. per week on Khan Academy each week.

CourseSites (click the blue link to access the page)
CourseSites is a Learning Management System (LMS) that we will use for our courses in reading, writing, math, social studies, and science. Various courses will be offered on an ongoing basis. Some will last for 4 weeks; others will last for 8 weeks. You will be able to choose which courses interest you and fit within your academic goals, and then enroll in them when they become available.
For now, remember you can create an account and access all of your courses using Google's single sign-in option, which makes it easier to sign into all pages (just click the Google logo)!
