Khan Academy for Reading Practice
Many of you have asked about opportunities to practice reading in the same way that you practice math (a website like Khan Academy). And I'm happy to announce that the program is now here.
Introducing Read Theory, a free program that will build a unique course for each student. And for just 1-2 hours per week, you can start working on the reading skills needed to pass the Reading, Social Studies, Science, and even Math sections. As one eLearn student that just passed the HiSET says::
"Read Theory really helped me to know exactly what to look for when I read a passage. It helped me get ready for all the types of questions I saw on the Social Studies, Science, and Reading sections, and even with breaking down Math word problems!"

The course registration is due by 9pm on Monday, June 22nd.

Are you interested in politics and social issues? The next eLearn course, "Analyzing Social Issues," is great for students that want to practice social studies, reading, and writing, while exploring these important issues.
