Welcome to Analyzing Social Issues. The goal of this course is to build reading, writing, and social studies skills while researching and learning about some of the most important social issues in 2015. Based on your preferences that were submitted during the course registration process, we will be exploring these 3 issues over the next 3 weeks:

Course Requirements
To be successful in this course, be sure to:
Check your email weekly on Mondays to access each week's assignment
Complete the readings, videos, and writing assignments each week
Respond to feedback provided by the instructor (via Google Docs)
Budget time to complete each activity (1-2 hours per week)
How to Find Assignments
Assignments will be emailed each week on Monday; be sure to save these emails in case you need to use them throughout the week.

Submitting Late Assignments
It's always better to turn something in late than not at all, since you can still practice your reading and writing skills. So if you fall behind, that's okay! Just come back to this page and catch up when you can!
