Good Afternoon, Everyone!

Welcome to our first official week in the program! I hope you've had some time to play around on Khan Academy and maybe also try an Activity On-Demand. Remember, all time spent on Khan, submitting activities, and participating in courses will help you earn hours and build skills towards the HiSET.

Weekly Planner Assignment

Online classes are great because of the flexibility and convenience. You can study anytime and anywhere! For these same reasons, they can also be challenging since there isn't a teacher pushing you to get online or a specific time when you have to be at campus. That's why time management and planning are so important!

This assignment is required for all new eLearn students and will help you build a weekly planner where you choose specific times to dedicate each week to online studies!

Most of the websites that we use in the eLearn Program, including Khan Academy and all Google Appls (like Gmail, Docs, Drive, and Calendar) are optimized for Chrome. This means you will experience the best experience and fewer issues just by using the free browser.

And did you realize you can also download Chrome on your phone to use Khan Academy on your mobile? Just download Chrome on your Android or iOS, visit khanacademy.org and you can watch videos and try problems while you are bored at work, on the bus, or anywhere else! And you will get credit for the time as long as you log-in with your Google account!
