2D

Taking 2D was a learning experience and I really improved with my art. I got to meet others that had the same interests as me. The assignments that I liked the most in 2D were probably my Zentangle project and my Duck Stamp project because I really like the way they turned out. I spent a lot of time on them and I really like the way they turned out. I really struggled with the Beautiful Oops drawing because it's really hard for me to think outside of the box, I think I did an okay job even though it could be a lot better.

I learned how to use paints to make more realistic paintings which was one of my goals because I really admire people that can paint really well and make awesome paintings. I envied them, but I think as the semester continued I became more and more familiar with acrylic paint and was able to use it to the best of my ability. As you can see from the Circle Project and the Duck Stamp project, my painting skills improved.

My work illustrates my work as an artist because you can tell by the different types of materials I used and tools I used and how my work improved throughout the several months. I think I think that I can continue to improve my water color skills. And I really want to find my type of style with my art because I kind of make different types of art, some of them look similar, but by next year I want to find an art style that is unique to me.
