The opportunity to appeal a negative performance evaluation.
The opportunity to receive a Contract for Improved Performance to repeal a negative performance evaluation.
Scheduling, when feasible, with your requested availability and time.
A locker in the Langton or Women’s Building locker rooms for the duration of your employment. All students are issued a locker basket, allowing you to use a big locker during the day, but you must return your items to your basket overnight.
KidSpirit is committed to an environment in which relationships are characterized by dignity, courtesy, respect, and equitable treatment. It is KidSpirit policy to provide all participants with an environment free from all forms of unlawful harassment; including sexual harassment, harassment based on race, color, religious beliefs, national origin, gender, age, disability or other protected class characteristics.
KidSpirit will not condone nor tolerate any conduct that could be considered mentally, physically, verbally, or sexually abusive to another member. Among the activities prohibited are:
Overt display of sexual behavior/activity between and/or among staff and volunteers.
Any display or demonstration of sexual advances or sexual activity of any kind between employed staff or volunteers and camp participants.
Use of the KidSpirit name, related activities, publications and/or facilities as vehicles for public or private promotion of sexual orientation and/or practices.
Infliction of sexually abusive behavior upon participants, including sexual touching and bodily contact, exhibitionism, voyeurism and/or involvement of participants in pornographic activities or materials.
Infliction of physically abusive behavior or bodily injury upon participants.
Physical neglect of participants, including failure to provide adequate safety measures, care and supervision in relation to KidSpirit activities.
Emotional maltreatment of participants, including verbal abuse and/or verbal attacks.
Child abuse and/or neglect carry legal consequences beyond KidSpirit. In addition to suspension from participation in KidSpirit activities, persons suspected of child abuse or neglect must be reported to the proper local authorities for investigation according to the terms of the law. Anyone suspecting child abuse or neglect is required by law to report it. Information on how to recognize and respond to suspected child abuse will be provided in mandatory trainings.
