Wrike is an interactive and collaborative project management software. It allows the leadership team to monitor the work done in the office, both on the short term and long term, to move KidSpirit forward. It allows for all information to be in one place, a significant reduction in messaging about the status of projects, and more overall productivity. However, it is consistency is key to Wrike, and deviating from the system reduces overall team efficiency.
Work Flows: recurring tasks that are completed to keep KidSpirit running day to day. These include weekly task lists, prep tasks lists, and other templates
Projects: One time grouping of tasks that involves input from multiple staff members to be accomplished. There are deadlines and assigned staff for the individual tasks as well as the overall project.
Tasks: individual components of the job that are assigned to one person
Admins: People who have full access to edit, assign, and create tasks and projects
Request Forms: used by staff to request that a project manager create and assign a task in Wrike. Method of communicating needed work to the Wrike Admins.
Wrike should always be open on your computer during your shifts to monitor work
The status of a task matters! Make sure to change it to “In Progress” or “Complete”, or even just leave a comment with your progress at the end of the day
If a task is assigned to you, you are held accountable
If a task in on a general task list (ie SDC M-F tasks) and not specifically assigned, take ownership and work on it! Just change the status in Wrike
Pay attention to deadlines. You will be held accountable to them
