All card payments taken over the phone should only be written down only if absolutely necessary. For instance, if you are at the front desk, take the phone to the credit card machine and process the payment. The only way to be safe is to not write it down at all. If you do have to write it down, you will need the name on the card, credit card number, expiration date, and 3 digit security code. Any credit card information that is written down will be scribbled out with pen, and then blacked out with permanent ink before taken up to the shred bin. You will personally take it to the shred bin and tear it into pieces. This is a standard set by PIS DSS Compliance agreed by KidSpirit.
Payment plans are necessary for families who need time to pay off their KidSpirit balance. This is the only exception to our Informed Consent and Release Policy. To begin a payment plan, "View Details" of the child's account, click the tab above titled "Charges and Payment", and scroll to the bottom. There you will find "New Scheduled Payment". This will allow you to set a determined price and due date that you will decide with the family. Let them decide when and how much to pay, because this is usually solely based off of when the next paycheck comes in.
