Rinse the filters and/or do a 10-12 gallon water change with the rock sifting.
Take a small sample of our fish tank water to the pet store on 4th called "Animal House," located at 646 SW 4th St, Corvallis, OR 97333. They will test the water for other things beside our typical pH and ammonia. Take their advice for adjusting levels to usual.
This should be done during the first week of January, March, May, July, September, and November.
