NAN GOLDIN ACTIVISM CASE STUDY 

The analysis at hand attempts to focus on the meaning of the Witnesses: Against Our Vanishing exhibition, and activist group, P.A.I.N., which were reactions to public health crises and political situations. Through the historicization of AIDS and the opioid epidemic, the study focuses on the self-empowerment of activists that responded to specific political situations in America. This history of the political battle fought by American activists shaped the global images of AIDS and the opioid epidemic.
