Pavo Cadaver is a Boston born singer-songwriter and musical artist currently residing in New York City while completing their Bachelors in Contemporary Music at The New School. Originally raised playing classical and jazz piano and percussion in their childhood, they began to secretly confide in pop and alternative music as an emotional outlet and their immense passion for the genre snowballed from there. Their dark yet unadulterated lyricism evolved from a coping mechanism to survive immense challenges within their teenage years, and acts as a long-standing crux within their artistry today. Combining sonic elements of musical theater and classical orchestration with the sounds and hooks of pop acts like Lady Gaga and MARINA, Cadaver’s songs seek to fully hyperbolize and overtly illustrate the emotions of the lyrical topics they discuss. Their accompanying visuals take major aesthetic influence from the homemade stock footage visuals of Lana Del Rey in conjunction with pop culture imagery as a whole. Cadaver is set to release their first single “Since Parties Are Your New Best Friend…” this summer, and is in the process of writing and co-producing their anticipated debut album.
