My project is an 8-song EP written and performed in the style of '60s-'70s classic rock and pop, such as The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Sparks, Frank Zappa and more. While it is thematically concerned with genre parody and artifice, there are moments of vulnerability and earnestness.
Matt Ellin is a guitarist, bassist and singer-songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland. They are interested in utilizing the natural sound of the human voice in music, as well as the fine line between silly and serious songs.
