Arts senior seminars bridge the collective experience of studying the arts at Lang with students’ individual paths of study. The projects foreground the process of formulating and realizing creative and intellectual projects within a supportive peer context.

The capstone projects on these pages were created by graduating seniors in creative project-, performance-, and essay-based seminars led by professors David Birkin, Neil Greenberg, Clara Latham and Jeannine Tang. A key word from the beginning was "process," encouraging students to think through the medium of their project.

COVID-19 threw a wrench into the processes of these seniors for their final undergraduate semesters. The projects that follow are a testament to the tenacity and creativity of these remarkable students.
