James Kienitz-Wilkins, Professor and Capstone Advisor. James provided excellent feedback on my creative work, and helped gameplan a lot of the more administrative elements of making a movie. He's always a good critical thinker and a helpful listener, and I'm grateful I got to have two classes with him during my time at Lang.
Creative
This project has further cemented my love for filmmaking and given me the confidence to dream bigger on my next project. Myself and the crew had a blast making this film, and it felt like the culmination of a long-gestating creative process I'd been waiting to execute on.
I think administratively I did a very good job setting up the shoot, organizing a great team, and executing on vision. There are creative changes I would have made to the final product, but above all I would have encouraged myself to have more fun. Excellence can be achieved with a mix of preparation and genuine joy.
Was wonderful writing, directing, shooting, and editing a short film from start to finish. Had a wonderful time with my crew and cast, and can't wait to get started on the next film.
