Taking Space, Holding Space

My project involves looking into the archive of Rosemarie Castoro (1939-2015), an American artist associated with minimalism and conceptualism. I desired to connect with Rosemarie by intimately exploring her archive and the objects it contains. I made several visits to examine her artwork, letters, and journals. In my search for Rosemarie, the project felt one-sided. In order to build what I can of a posthumous relationship, I created a book depicting her life and mine as I encounter her archival documents.
