Cyborg Mix & Master

Beomhyun Ahn(Andy) is currently a New York-based composer and audio engineer. Through the senior thesis, he wants to express that it is to act as a bridge between AI and human mixing/mastering. Through his own composition, he wants to find out the difference between AI mixing/mastering technology compared to that of humans. Furthermore, he expresses that AI technology is not a substitute for human technology but a tool to improve human technology. The technology used in this composition, Cyborg Mix & Master is a plugin based on AI, which is based on AI technology, and his subjectivity and musicality are embedded in the work. In other words, it means collaboration between human nuance and algorithms. He hopes that it will be an opportunity to expand new musical exchanges and culture through the collaboration between AI and humanity that arises in the process of mixing and mastering, rather than obtaining pure results using AI.
