Comets: and Other Blue Things from the Sky

Comets: and Other Blue Things from the Sky is an artist book of 30 spreads comprised of paintings, drawings, poetry, embroidery, collages, digital interventions, and the color blue that use maps, mail and transit images, geographical and digital landscapes, and portraiture to illustrate an autobiographical, non-chronological narrative of search for emotions and memories and where they transpire. This transcendental layering of simultaneous settings uses maps as means of a vertical perspective, such as that of a comet, circling the earth from above over and over again.
