The Notre Dame Drinking Bird is a little different from the traditional Drinking Bird apparatus. A heat lamp is placed below the bird so it acts like a palm glass. As the liquid is heated, the vapor pressure pushes it toward the bird's head. Once enough liquid reaches the head, the bird tips.
Setup:
Place the drinking bird apparatus on the demo table and plug it in.
As the liquid heats, the bird will tip.
