This demonstration shows how a prism can be used to separate white light into different colors, showing dispersion.

Setup:
Place the white plastic board on the lab table with the screen at one end (optional, can shine it at a wall).
Plug the light source into the power supply in the outer holes.
Place the prism in front of the light source.
Plug in the power supply to turn it on.
Turn the prism and light source to change the angles and see the rainbow of color.
Notes:
Be careful, the lamp gets warm.
