Resolution of Forces

This demonstration gives a visualization and verification of how to resolve forces into components. Students can calculate and see the readings on the scales.

Setup:

Using the Klinger Magnetic Mechanics Kit, arrange the equipment as shown in the photo above.

Calculations may be done to verify the scale readings.

Notes:

May take a few minutes to setup.
