Using a quick pull, a tablecloth is pulled out from under dishes.

Setup:
Cover the lab table with the tablecloth. Place the dishes on top.
Firmly grab the tablecloth and pull out and down to remove it from under the dishes.
Notes:
This demonstration requires some practice ahead of time.
This demonstration has an alternate version. Based on your proficiency, it may be easier to do this version or the other, or both. They demonstrate the same concept.
