This demonstration shows the effect of a Faraday cage on a small portable radio. When placed inside the cage, the radio doesn’t receive signal and the transmission is blocked.

Setup:
Place the radio on aluminum foil, turn it on and adjust the frequency until you reach any radio station. Place the cage above it and show that by doing so you lose signal.
