This demonstration shows the effect of eddy currents in a copper tube vs. an acrylic tube. As a magnet falls through each tube, the magnet in the copper tube falls much slower.

Setup:
Using the ring stand, hang the copper and plastic tubes.
Drop the magnets down each tube to see the difference.
