Other than the chai tea, we also make sure that's there's enough coffee for the participants in the camp during breakfasts. You can find a copy of the instruction on how to make the coffee inside the kitchen tent. The coffee needed for the program still depends on the number of participants.
Coffee
Coffee plunger
Tablespoon
800ml Boiling hot water
Thermos coffee dispenser
Coffee Ratio: 800ml water (fill one) & 5 heaped tablespoons of coffee/ plunger
Coffee Provisioning: 500g should do 25 coffees
Make sure that there is enough hot water in the urn. Prepare all of the coffee plungers and the thermos coffee dispenser on the the table.
It's easier to make the coffee if you have all the ingredients and equipment ready when needed.
Depending on the choice of coffee, scoop 5 heaps of tablespoon of coffee powder in each plunger.
Grab the plunger and add 800ml of hot water. Make sure the water reaches near the silver part of the plunger. Get a spoon and start stirring the coffee powder to the water. Place the plunger on top and leave it for 2 mins.
It is ideal to do all the coffee plungers all at once to make the process faster.
Make sure to slowly plunge the coffee mixture to avoid overflow.
Make sure that the arrow in the lid of the plunger is pointing towards the spout and pour it in the thermos. Before closing the thermos coffee dispenser and after you have added the coffee mixture, make sure that you have added the spout of the thermos or else people can't pump out the mixture from the thermos.
6 coffee plungers can fill each thermos coffee dispenser.
