When we're dealing with things around the camp, we have to deal with rubbish. Australia is strict in segregating the waste so we need to follow this. There are two types of waste bins: recycling and rubbish.
Recycling Bin (Green Bag)- For bottles and cardboards
Rubbish Bin (Black bag) - Anything that can't be used and need to be thrown away
Trash bins
Garbage bags (two colors - green for recycling and black for rubbish)
In preparing the waste bins, we need to add a garbage bag to every waste bin. There's an appropriate color for every waste bin, green is for recycling and black is for rubbish.
We need to segregate our trash because Australia is strict about this.
Two rubbish bins need to be placed in the Kata Tent next to the bar. This is for the bottles and other rubbish used by the participants. The other one is for the kitchen tent where we can throw away the trash we've used in the kitchen.
It is important to check the bins from time to time to make sure that it won't overflow.
Remove the garbage bags from the bins and replace it with a new one with same color. You can place the garbage bags with trash at the back of the kitchen tent.
The garbage will then be transported up the hill.
