MAG prides itself in providing quality for the clients, even down to the finer details of what coffee we plunge and make available to our clients. We also like to support local business which means our go-to provider for ground coffee is Blackheath General Store in Blackheath. Based on previous programs we have a formula for the amount of coffee we need to purchase in order to have enough available on site. We also need to make sure the coffee is collected as close to program start as possible to ensure it remains fresh. Follow the simple steps below to make sure we are brewing the best!
Two weeks before the program (as soon as final numbers are confirmed)
Based on previous programs, 500g of ground coffee should do 25 coffees. To be on the safe side allocated 1 cup of coffee for each per person day.
(Number of Clients) x 2 = (Number of Cups of Coffee)
(Number of Cups of Coffee) / 25 = (Number of 500g bags)
Note: Check the size of the bag, sometimes Blackheath General Store sells 250g bags. If this is the case, multiply the above calculations for 500g by 2
1 week before the program
Out of courtesy, and to make sure Blackheath General Store has enough coffee available and time to grind it all, we like to call to confirm the amount of coffee and when we will pick up the order - generally the day before a program commences. They may, or may not, ask you to pay in advance.
1 day before the program
Given we like the coffee to be freshly ground, it's best to pick up the coffee one day before or the first day of a program.
