In order to cater to a large number of participants in a Non Corporate program, we will be organizing four adventure streams during adventure day. The participants will be divided into groups and these groups will be facilitated by a guide. We will assign one guide for every 8 individuals.
All participants of the event need to complete a medical form and indicate their preferred adventure activity. The activities on offer will depend on the participant's fitness, experience, appetite for adventure. Once we have collated all their responses, we will be assigning them to the specific adventure activity that they have chosen.
Every adventure stream has been assigned to a wrist band with a specific color:
Abseiling and Guided Walk - Purple Wrist Band
Abseiling and Canyoning
Grand Canyon - Yellow Wrist Band
Empress Canyon - Green Wrist Band
Guided Hike - Blue Wrist Band
Family Adventure Course - Pink Wrist Band
An action packed rappelling and canyon experience! Participants will learn the fundamentals of rappelling in the morning, gaining confidence as they hone their technique and tackle bigger drops.
After the morning rappel session, participants will put their newly acquired skills to use in the exciting and action packed Canyon. Scrambling, wading, swimming and jumping leads to a thrilling climax.
World Class Guides will take participants on a magnificent walk in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. They will explore spectacular locations and make delightful discoveries away from the highway and town centre. While wandering past awe inspiring lookouts, our guides will share local secrets and interpret the unique environment for them.
The hike chosen will depend on their fitness, capability and appetite for adventure.
Stunning scenery, astounding landforms, historical sites, unique wildlife and interesting vegetation: Come, see, walk, breathe.
This activity will be a fun and exciting course in which families will need to negotiate obstacles, challenges and activities while also testing their ability to work together through group puzzles.
In order to finish the course, the family will need to work together and follow Location Clues, which will deliver them to a number of adventure and non-adventure based challenges. Bonus challenges and time penalties will also be scattered through the race. Participants will only receive their next location clue once they have satisfactorily completed each challenge.
The wrist bands that were used by the participants in the adventure activities have been puchased at AAC. You may order the products directly on their website and they will send you a quotation after. Please refer to the information below:
