Audio/Video is an important equipment of the camp because it is used in the keynote aspect of every program.
2 TVs
Speakers
Wireless microphone
Mixing desk
Cable to connect the laptop in to the mixing desk
Audio cable which will run from the mixing desk to the speaker(s)
A small red cable for the wireless microphone into the mixing desk
HDMI splitter to enable the laptop to go out through the HDMI port so the video signal can split into two TVs
3 HDMIS cables for the laptop into the splitter and one cable for each for each TV
Plug in to power the TV and speakers and make sure it is in the right place for the program.
Prepare all the components in one table and organize the wires needed.
Grab the mixing desk and USB cable. Plug the USB cable to the mixing desk then the other part of the wire should be connected to the power socket. That will now have power and ready to go.
Grab the audio cable and plug it in the mixing desk in the 'Output' section in the left channel. Keep the cables organized to avoid people from tripping over. Plug the other side of the audio cable (XLR cable) to the 'Line In' in one speaker.
You can connect the speaker to the phone via Bluetooth (Click pair). You can connect music through this.
You can also adjust the volume at the back of the speakers.
Grab the 'receiver' and the wires for the power from the microphone box. Plug the wire in the power point outlet at the back of the 'receiver' black box. Connect the first end of the red XLR cable to the unbalanced outlet in the black box. The other end of the red XLR cable will be plugged into the mixing desk.
You will now be able to get signal from the microphone and it will now work. The audio has now been set up and connected.
You may adjust the 'fader' in the mixing desk. You can control the volume through this.
Grab the black wire with the 3.5 jack and plug one end into the laptop and the other end with the two jacks (red and white) into the mixing desk.
Plug the power to the extension wire and connect the other end to the HDMI splitter. Grab the three HDMI cables (two small cables and one big cable)
Connect the big HDMI cable to the HDMI port in the laptop. The other end of the HDMI cable should be plugged to the splitter.
Grab the two smaller HDMI wires and connect each of the HDMI cables to each TV. Connect one end to the output of the splitter and the other end to the HDMI #1 of the back of the TV.
