On Day 2 after the participants leave for the adventure activities, the base camp staff should take care of the tents of the participants. This is weather dependent so you need to check the weather if it's gonna be sunny or rainy throughout the day. During hot days, the base camp staff should open the front and back of the tent. On the other hand, if it's expected to rain that day, the staff should keep the tents closed.
Tents
After the participants have left the camp for the day, the base camp staff will head out to the tents and fix it.
Check the weather for that day and that's how you decide if you need to open the tents or keep it closed.
During hot days, you can open the front and back of the tent by unzipping and rolling it.
This will allow proper ventilation inside the tent of the participant.
After you have opened and rolled the frontmost section of the tent, you can also open the entrance of the tent. You can unzip it and what remains is the mesh. You can place the unzipped cloth inside a pocket located at the bottom of this.
The mesh protects the tent from the flies and other insects so that it won't get inside, and at the same time this also provides ventilation, allowing air to circulate.
Here's a step-by-step video on how to fix the tents and open one side:
