OneVentures is a venture capital and private equity-adjacent firm operating in Australia. They are known internally for a culture that is warm, collaborative, and high-performing — but the leadership team has identified a meaningful gap: an organisation-wide aversion to open disagreement and idea-based conflict that is beginning to liamit performance and decision quality.
The team gathers annually for a leadership offsite. James Castrission has facilitated this event before (Gold Coast, 2024) and are returning for the 2026 Noosa offsite. James is trusted implicitly by Matt and the broader team — the client has deliberately minimised internal facilitation time to give James maximum runway.
What They Hope to Achieve
Build on prior work on trust (base of the Lencioni pyramid) and advance to healthy conflict and high-performance team behaviours.
Shift the culture from polite, avoidant communication towards open dialogue, idea-based debate, and committed decision-making.
Give the team a shared language and framework for navigating difficult conversations without damaging relationships.
Integrate 7–8 new staff into the team's existing narrative and shared frameworks.
Create a memorable, high-energy, high-value experience the full team will talk about beyond the offsite.
