When clients arrive on site, it's really important to make them feel welcome and supported from the get go. The number of clients will determine how many staff are there to greet on arrival, however as a minimum this will include the Base Camp Manager and James.
Clients are greeted on arrival with hot or cold towels (weather dependent) to freshen up, and then advised which tent they are in. They are then encouraged to drop their bags at their tent, and head back to the Kata for a non-alcoholic drink and to listen to the official welcome and keynote.

As clients are about to arrive, we need to get the staff in their uniforms (MAG shirt and cap). Some staff will bring the towels and some staff will bring the drinks
Staff will approach the clients once they arrive in camp and have to bring on their biggest smiles
As we help clients with their luggages into the camp, we check on the tent map to where the client is in. If they need some assistance, a staff will take them to their tent
Once clients have settled in, they mingle for a few minutes and sit down in the kata
After we welcome all clients in the camp, we ask the senior leader of the organisation to welcome everybody and thank them for being in the camp. Then the CEO hands over the floor to James for him to start his keynote
After James' keynote, he does the camp induction and give an overview of the the activities in the next days, what to expect, and safety instructions
