I know that people may have different ideas about art, and I can share how the time, place, or people around the artist helped shape the artwork. 

Culture is what a group believes and does. 

Influence is what has an effect on a person or artwork."

I can tell what an artist may have meant, use clues from the artwork and its context to support my ideas, and explain that people can have different views about what art means and why it matters.
