Physical Education at Year 10 is for students who have a genuine interest and enjoyment in being physically active. Weekly practical activities provide opportunities for students to engage with the theoretical concepts being studied. This subject is for students who are interested in exploring how the sports sciences relate to improving fitness, health and skill. Physical Education develops fitness, teamwork and leadership skills in students.
Please note - Year 10 Physical Education involves both theoretical and practical components. Students undertake three theory lessons (in classroom) and two practical lessons per week. To consolidate understanding of theoretical concepts, all students are required to complete weekly homework and revision activities.
